Any closed wheel car fitted (or retro fitted) with headlights

 

 

Legends.

 

Pioneer Legend’s only.

20k max non pro brand motor only.

An Amato Chassis replacement is allowed, as standard chassis is prone to failure.

11/33 Gearing.

Axles Wheels, guide and Tyres may be changed.

 

Others Classes may be added in future as decided on by club members at any General Members Meeting or AGM.

 

 

Groups.

1: Non Pro

2: Pro

 

 

Groups are run within the existing classes, this is to give everyone from new beginners to people with "Pro" cars a chance to race them within the above classes. Specific group rules are set out below.

 

 

"Pro Car"

Anything goes from any manufacturer.

 

E.g.: NSR, Slot,it, Scaleauto, Team Slot, Avant Slot, SRC, MSC, MR Slot, Policar, Revoslot etc.

 

WSR, JS, Amato and other 3d chassis's, chassis with a motor pod or 2 part chassis are also classed as "Pro car" parts.

 

 

Motor Speed.

22.5k motor max, and must have the motor speed clearly visible on it.

 

"Non pro" Group.

 

The following items from the following brands are NOT ALLOWED in this group, if they are used then the car qualifies as a "Pro" car.

 

NSR, Slot.it, Scaleauto, Team Slot, Avant, SRC, MSC, MR Slot, Policar.

 

Motor.

Body shell.

Chassis.

Any form of adjustable pod from any manufacturer, including Penelope Pitlane or any 3d printed alternative chassis.

 

 

To qualify for "non pro" car the following are the build rules:

 

A: Be a box standard Toy brand car.

 

B: Be a modified Toy brand car using the allowed parts below, and any magnets removed.

 

 

Mixing and matching between these manufacturers is allowed. Eg – Ninco motor (not Lightning) in a Scalextric car.

 

Motor limit of 22.5k, and must have the motor speed clearly visible on it.

 

 

The following parts are free choice and can be used from any manufacturer (including the ‘Pro’ group manufacturers)

 

Gears – pinion and crown

 

Bearings

 

Wheels

 

Tyres.

If it helps make a driver have a better club night and do better, then there's no need to restrict manufacturers. Pendles own tyres are made by BRM, so a tyre restriction is pointless

 

Axles

 

Guides.

7.5 mm blade depth max.

 

 

 

A few examples:

 

A standard Scalextric car is "non pro" group

 

A Standard Scalextric car fitted with a Ninco 22k Motor is in "non pro" group.

 

A Standard Scalextric Car fitted with an 20k Scaleauto motor is ‘Pro’ Group

 

A Slot,it car fitted with a Scalextric 18k Motor is ‘Pro’ Group

 

 

A Scalextric car with a WSR, Amato, JS, Penelope Pitlane or any other 3d printed Chassis, chassis with a motor pod or 2 part chassis is ‘Pro’ Group.

 

Cars using magnets must be one of the following toy brand makes.

 

Scalextric.

SCX.

Carrera.

Pioneer.

Fly.

Ninco (not Lightning)

 

They must be box standard spec.

 

The Car must only have one magnet and be the standard magnet fitted by the manufacturer.

 

Other than the following 2 items, no other modification or addition to the car whatsoever is allowed.

 

Rear Axle bushes may be glued to prevent them popping out.

 

Replacement tyres may be fitted, and glued and trued.

 

Weight may not be added.

 

If in doubt, ask before attempting to race it.

 

 

The Race controller should be informed of who is racing in which group before the race begins, which will be recorded on a race sheet to determine results by Category.

 

Cars will be visually scrutineered as they come to the start line and any illegal cars will be disqualified or moved into the appropriate Category for the race.

 

Podiums will be for top 3 in race overall for each group.
